It’s a beautiful fall in Bozeman.

I’ve discovered the simple pleasure of the way leaves crunch when I walk on them. It’s wonderful! Also wonderful is riding my bike through lots of leaves. It makes a hissing noise of sorts, but in a good way.

Crunching Leaves is the most enjoyable childhood experience I can think of except crunching mud puddles that have dried up and turned into curling dirt clods. We used to pretend that the curled up dirt clods were bowls, and eat imaginary food from them. Thank you for reminding me of an enjoyable experience.
